Hi, my name is Javier Serrano. I was born in Seville, that beautiful place in the South of Spain, but since January of 2004 I am living in the city of Kobe, in Japan. Here I teach Spanish, and in my spare time I enjoy practicing my hobbies. One of them is photography, something that I try to combine with the internet. In October of 2005 I created a website, Motomachicakeblog, which has been working continuously since then trying to get a personal point of view of Japan to the Spanish and Latin American readers.

This new Photoblog comes not to replace the main blog but to focus on the photography. I also wanted to make possible to show some of my pictures in a higher resolution, something which was not feasible before.

I hope that you enjoy your visit. Please, feel free to comment on the pictures, to ask anything or to provide any feedback you could have.

どうも、スペイン南部・セビリア出身のハビエル・セラーノです。2004年1月より神戸在住、スペイン語を教えてます。休みの時は色々と趣味に興じていますが、写真はそのうちのひとつ。Motomachicakeblog では、私の目に映る日本を、このPhotoblogでは”写真”をメインに、高解像のものなど載せたいと思っています。

Hola, mi nombre es Javier Serrano. Soy natural de Sevilla, esa hermosa ciudad del sur de España. Allí viví hasta enero de 2004, momento en el que aterricé en estas islas para residir en otro bello lugar, la ciudad de Kobe. Aquí me gano la vida enseñando español y en mi tiempo libre trato de desarrollar mis aficiones. Una de ellas es la fotografía, algo que combino con internet. En octubre de 2005 abrí una web, Motomachicakeblog, que ha estado funcionando ininterrumpidamente hasta la fecha (y espero que siga haciéndolo por mucho más tiempo). En dicho sitio pretendo ofrecer a los lectores, hispanohablantes en su mayoría, mi punto de vista personal sobre el país en el que me encuentro.

Este nuevo Photoblog no viene a reemplazar a Motomachicakeblog, es un sitio paralelo en el que me centraré, obviamente, en la fotografía. Desde hace algún tiempo me sentía en la necesidad de disponer de un medio desde el cual poder mostrar mis imágenes con una resolución superior a la habitual en un blog en el que el aspecto visual suele estar al servicio del texto.

Espero que la visita sea de vuestro agrado. Por favor, sentios libres de comentar las fotografías, de preguntar cualquier cosa que consideréis oportuna acerca de ellas (o de lo que muestran). Me gustaría que vuestro feedback, al igual que ocurre en Motomachicakeblog, sea también una parte importante aquí.
