thierry mugler cologne fragranticarobotic rideable goat

Top notes are Coconut Water and Bergamot; middle notes are Jasmine and Heliotrope; base notes are Bourbon Vanilla and Cashmeran. Still a solid release! I had 3 samples of Alien Goddess and kept giving them away, and yet still craving to smell it again . The voice of Bjrk is a perfect description for this one, it is warm and "foreign" at the same time. Creamy, coconut vanilla that's just so perfectly balanced.

Im keeping it because I love the bottle so much!

This can't be Mugler. A new favorite for me.

Could this be a result of the interaction with bergamot? gosh i just love this stuff so much It may be a new signature. | Deutsch | Espaol | Franais | etina | Italiano | | Polski | Portugus | | | Nederlands | Hrvatski | Romn | | | | |, Copyrights 2006-2022 Fragrantica.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. maybe the best example of willows taste in recent history which is saying almost nothing so take that with what you will.

It's okay. On clothes it will last for days, which is a plus!

Much like Scentine described below, its just a cheap vanilla coconut that could easily pass as a cheap summer body lotion.

The dry down smells like an amalgamation of fake Dollar Store vanilla, spoiled buttermilk, and fresh mown hay. I get a little suntan vibe but that works for me it brings back memories of Coppertone days on the Gulf coast.

Its a solid scent, and doesnt deserve the hate it gets. First of all, the packaging is so cheap - looks like an Adidas perfume you get in your neighbourhood drugstore. The verdure of the coconut water note is mouthwateringly beautiful. It has depth its not a typical summer coconut scent. I would think Plum or Plumeria, as I can almost sense some kind of sweet freshening element in the deepest depths, striving to provide a little lift and juiciness.

Way too powdery for me. It's sunscreen-y, good for coconut lovers. I'm not into the vanilla based scents, as they are almost always cloyingly creamy and overly warm, but I was curious because my perfume buddy absolutely loves it.

It isnt a strictly green neroli, its a bit powdery and not as straightforward as the real bloom. i don't usually like powdery scents, or white floral scents either tbh but i adore this one. It's a luxurious sunscreen scent. I understand the comments about it being generic, but to me it is way more sophisticated than a generic body spray or straight up sunscreen. I love Mugler but this was a pass.

I just sniffed this at the store because I thought I would have loved it. Nice refreshing orange blossom cologne for hot summer days.

The samples arrived. Its very strong and it lasts forever. I am a Mugler addict.

Disgusting? This has nothing to do with Alien. "MUGLER Cologne is fresh and intoxicating, with light and energizing green and citrus notes. This is very beautiful - classic femininity.

I received a sample of it.

This is literally overpriced shower gel.

Is this fragrance more linear than the other Aliens? I think one could safely wear it any time.

Not a fan--the bergamot and coconut water blend into a weird metallic note on my skin. Not a fan. I am very picky with gourmands, but gave this a good faith try anyway. I wasnt expecting much going into the first test, but to be fair, I love orange blossom. The bergamot doesn't stand out to me.

It definitely is a familiar crowd pleaser scent, which is not a negative thing. Coconut water top notes come n go, mainly it's just a pinch of Alien in cashmeran. 10/10 would reccomend.

It was created by Firmenich perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne.

I can see why other people like it though.

I think its absolutely gorgeous and very likable, wearable and great for everyday. This is just a run of the mill beachy scent with nothing resembling the art, scent and quality of Alien by Thierry Mugler.

enjoying it in winter days also. I also love the fact that it's unique, yet I think it's underappreciated in some ways. The only one of those (and there are a lot) that had notes that appealed to me were those of Alien Goddess. This smells exactly like Harajuku Lovers "Pop Electric G". and it could have kept going. I honestly prefer something like CK One for everyday in the summer. I don't know why I keep forgetting about it. Smells like a sunscreen. It dries down to have a bit more Mugler DNA, though very slight.

A light and decadent coconut sun-tan lotion, just sat on the beach for hours, sea salt in my hair type of vibe, but in a sophisticated and classy way. Same performance, but I dont feel as bad refreshing as I would if I got a FB of this one :p. Simple, maybe a little too much so for my tastes.

i'm gonna track down some thierry mugler era versions of my favourites and move on! The opening reminds me of the opening of Angel iced star which I love but this may be better since it doesn't have the awful patchouli note that iced star has.

It smells good, but you could definitely find a body mist at VS or BBW that would smell essentially just like this. Take Me Out is my first foray into the Mugler Cologne line. Lovely vanilla fragrance with a rather floral opening. I have to defend this recent release again despite I kicked it out of my collection for Extraordinaire.

I ended up hating the drydown. On me, the coconut isn't nearly as strong. I was so excited when I learned this was coming out. It's totally linear in cooler weather but the heat makes this sultry and sexy with depth.

Nice and sweet not lasting and very common but its nice for summer holidays gives a happy feel sexy bottle like the colour the only alien I can tolerate. The bag design might be David Koma's, but the scent speaks Thierry.

After 10 minutes, jasmine makes its appearance.

Mugler has done me so many times it has had more incarnations with no notable new and fresh approach! Now, I will be as impartial as possible: More coconut than the accords say.

Its not bad at all, but it could be released under literally ANY other designer haus and it could pass. Alas! As soon as it was sprayed, I thought "This smells like something anyone could have made." I dont know if it just reacted poorly to my skin and the Florida heat, but it became too much and I had to scrub it off. Then all of a sudden, I get a really strong lime note out of nowhere. I'm in the minority because I love this fragrance! Why are they doing this to their newer flankers eg Mirage where we have to accept that it may not smell like Alien but it still smells nice?!!! Very light slightly creamy Alien. Not quite a gourmand, not quite a floral, but a warm and comforting blend that just makes me very happy with its soft vanilla dry down. Great for the summer time and holidays as its got that suntan lotion vibe for sure.

If I do a few sprays it may disappear in a couple hours, but if you overspray it will stay with you all night until the next morning. Great but totally reliant on a great reputation but then unable to keep to live on the past and rebranding old wine in a new bottle, or in this case perfume. I think this is a good day time choice for someone that wants something ultra feminine with a soft coconut scent without it smelling "beachy" at all. I can't call this an orange blossom scent, it reminds me of something from the early 2000sTommy Girl maybe? A very amped up "Your skin but better".

After 30 minutes of settling into the skin it does smell alot more tolerable.

Subjectively speaking, this scent is beautiful.

The coconut water note lingers into the dry down, so if you dont like the scent of coconut I would steer clear of this fragrance. With the amount of marketing that has gone into this I expected so much more, but the only thing that lives up to its name is the bottle.

i think the vanilla and cashmeran give it enough depth that it could function for me as the perfect transition fragrance into the very beginning of fall w/o having to sacrifice the refreshing well needed bursts of coconut and bergamot for the residual heat.

I'm surprised at how many negative reviews this has! Honestly, it's more refresher than I have it credit for. I own My Philosophy Expressive which is very similar but a fraction of the price.

Since this isnt my kind of scent, I will not be voting on whether I like it or not (butting in to say tht this would b nice to smell on someone else near me).

I wouldnt ever expect this from mugler. Oh god I'm soooo disappointed in this!

Very similar to Soleil Blanc but less sweet and lighter on the citrusy notes.

Its not a bad scent, its just not for me. Definitely not Alien! | | Nederlands | Srpski | Romn | | | | |, Copyrights 2006-2022 Fragrantica.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. Coconut and vanilla are very prominent here. I had thought they dont make em like this anymore. Must admit that I have decluttered and sold a few flankers, but besides that, I am so into Mugler perfumes. It's the perfect summer scent. Creamy and powdery. Some days I'm getting Olympea saltiness and the general vibe, but usually on me it's sweet vanilla + coconut, I'm not a big fan of Olympea, so hopefully I'll get more days with no salty notes. Nothing groundbreaking but very pleasant in my opinion.

It is quite sweet without being fruity, depending on sweet subdued florals and vanilla. In short, they're just too much for me.

Goddess is a nice sweet cozy scent great for the cold weather Ive also received many compliments so far which is a nice bonus. sunessence 8ml mugler Online right now: 2,865, Fragrantica in your language: Well balanced and beautiful fragrence.

I had to go out and get it. Yes. I lament the fact that this house very rarely releases new scents, with Aura being the last mainstream stand-alone in 2017. But there was always something compelling about it.

It is a bit more faint than the original but Ive found that it lasts forever as long as you overspray. It's really nice catch for summer. The orange blossom is really nice and well done, and provides a nice little mood boost. Perfumes: 73,900 Available in a signature bottle with sleek curved lines to refill again and again and again."

If you like the original, this is only good for layering.

i gave it another chance last week and i've been OBSESSED ever since, i can't get enough of it.

I was secretly hoping it would be something like the regrettably discontinued Essence Absolue.

Epicene Gamma IFF: The Common Part of Spicy Men's Colognes of the 1980s?

My go to for sunny beach days. Alien Goddess really impressed me. It has that orange pez style opening on me, but like orange pez sitting on a green leaf. Off-White Paperwork: A Quartet of Contrasts, Close Your Eyes, Relax, Breathe and Envision a Blue Light, Cacao In The Sun by Maison Tahit: Dipped Strawberries, WPC 2022 - Discovering Asafoetida with Galbanum Oil From Iran, A Brand New Victoria's Secret Fragrance: Bare, Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Prive.

As Paulina Schar on YouTube recommended, I went into smelling Alien Goddess with the expectation that it would NOT smell like original (well 80% of me did heehee). It is a pretty vanilla scent, with better sillage than most vanilla scents, but I like my perfumes a kittle more complex nowadays, so I'm not sure I would buy a full bottle. I like this With its warm coconut refreshing vibes but I can barely smell it. Its a perfume that is sweet fruity and fresh at the same time not too heavy not too light. Like you just baked vanilla cookies after a bath in coconut water. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. It's a basic mild perfume for summer days. Sorry but Alien Goddess is a hilariously bad name. It smells nice and coconutty on my sister, though, so I gave it to her.

I smell fresh coconut, not ripe but fresh. There's not enough good things I can say about this. I'm not usually a fan of Alien and its flankers but this one stands out. Plastic, artificially sweetened coconut vibe. I get the coconut vibe but no bergamot.

Strong creamy coconut smell which lingers for hours. Which makes me sad, because Mugler used to be a house of extreme, polarizing perfumes with bold, strong concepts.

Like some other reviewers here, I am a Mugler addict, but maybe also kind of a purist? Alien Goddess does not make me think of the original Alien or any of its flankers, but on it's own it's nice. Smells nice but too girly for me even though it has one of my favorite notes in it.

I'm apart of the group of MUGLERIANS that love all pillar fragrances ANGEL, ALIEN, AMEN, AURA, and WOMANITY. (I know that's rare, but we do exist! From someone who loves Mugler fragrances this one was disappointing. The original is a best selling timeless classic, why are they conforming to what is trendy on the market now and not creating unique flankers like they did with Alien Essence Absolue or even Eau Sublime. I had big hopes, but ended up really underwhelmed. I'll edit if there any changed.

I remember my mum and my friend spraying the fragrance and they both said the same thing, that the fragrance smelled like "spoiled coconut milk". The fragrance is available as a 100ml Eau de Toilette from August 1.

I bought it instantly And I deeply regretted the purchase later. i have la nuit tresor nude, & i think these 2 are very different to each other. Not bad. Fun, slightly fruity, more vetiver-y, generic but great for the summer and for dousing all over yourself. Get this for the nice, boring girl in your life. The coconut in this reminds me very much of the lotions you could get at tanning salons in the 2000s.

taking it on vacation w/ me along with Eau de Soleil Blanc to see which is the last one standing. I see it as Girl of Now with coconut instead of pistachio and almond.

I'll return the bottle. I love it it smells so nice fresh with coconut and the vanilla just makes it like that perfect amount to make it tropical daytime but with a tad bit of sweetness, For some reason on me it smells like jelly bellys buttered popcorn jelly bean. Not for me sadly, I also get the OG BBW Coconut Lime Verbena (plus a smidge of OG Alien, maybe 3:1) and I am here for it! This is so crowd-pleasing that it becomes generic. To me, this has absolutely nothing to do with the OG Alien though - i really don't like that one. Since it launched recently, I figured if I fell in love with it, Id be able to find it easily- unlike my beloved, long discontinued Eau de Star by Mugler. Upon smelling it on a tester strip, I was entranced and likened it to a sparkling Soleil Blanc. I agree with other reviewers saying this lacks the uniqueness of a typical Mugler but at this point thats not something were gonna get and it also has no similarity to Alien, if anything I would say this is like a lighter hypnotic poison type scent.

I quite like it, it is a delicious beachy coconut, very pleasant bourbon vanilla, a little bit of powdery heliotrope and a tiiiiiny bit of cashmerane. I used to love Thierry Mugler and then something happened - the fragrances all smell cheap. Out of these three, Tresor Nude is probably the best performance, Alien Goddess is a better scent blend. This has no edge, no drama, no boldness other muglers have.

As I'm writing this in Jan 2022 the recent reviews are highly critical which is a bit hilarious since I went into this expecting to hate it and I like it just fine.

I love, went straight to the top of my list. its sexy asf anyone i shoved my arm into to ask their opinion said they loved it.

I will not buy a full bottle but glad I have the travel size. It's not the most unique fragrance but it's very pleasant.

I like it way better than SB and the price is so much better. You can do much better if you like these notes. Soft powderly & airy silky salty vanilla with a nuance of jazmin, on my favorite smoothest light woody base: cashmere. I usually wear more floral, gourmand and ambers.

BOTTLE so UGLY .Yeeeeeeee Yerrrrrrrrr.

Very enjoyable in summer and spring.

A perfect vanilla coconut summer scent.

The cologne evokes traditional eau de cologne with its pure fresh scent. The first sunrays sparkles on the screen of the water. One thing that resembles the original alien fragrance launched in 2005 is the shape of bottle; otherwise the essence is totally different this time. Very long lasting on me. Vetiver and I might get along one day, but not today.

I went to buy it, and decided to try it a second time before I do. With multiple sprays I get the coconut a bit, but very subdued. Unfortunately, the dry down become very powdery coconut scent, mix with heliotrope.

Somewhat underwhelming. Mugler had a revelation with A Men and Angel but since then they have never done anything.

The price is reasonable.

If you hate Alien or coconut, you will probably want to pass on this. So sexy and beachey, Im a big fan of powdery coconut dry downs on fragrances so was really excited to try this beauty well this fell short i did get coconut on the first spray kinda like coconut milk not strong like sunscreen .on the dry down i wouldnt describe it as powdery it faded very fast in fact was completely gone from my skin after about 2 hours which is rare for a Thierry scent, This reminds me of two perfumes, non of them is Alien. This is a GREAT fragrance! I certainly wouldn't recommend this one as a safe blind buy.

i don't know why they keep creating new scents under existing lines that have no correlation aside from the name? This is beautiful. TAKE ME OUT is an intense Cologne that blends the brightness of an orange blossom with the freshness of a shiso leaf. It may have longevity but so does a chemical burn. Not sure why this fragrance is getting so much hate! It smells like a balmy night in Hawaii. After reading the notes on here I can see why it has coconut water in the notes .

It doesn't smell enough like Alien to bear the name. <3). The cashmere note keeps this super cuddly. It is a strong scent I can imagine a lot of people would like this but for me its a no.

Smells like a bougie suntan lotion lol. I need a bottle of my own now.

Also one of the v few perfumes to ever have set me off sneezing so pass. I should of known it was not gonna live up to my expectations. The composition loveliest player is the coconut water.

It smelled so much more creamier and fresh, tropical even. I don't get Spirit deodorant from this. Shiso is definitely the main player throughout the life of this fragrance and I love that. Am I the only one that gets a little bit of womanity in the mid- drydown? I love Mugler frags for their artistry and unique scent profiles. Olympea is the one Id pass on if I could only choose two. Well done coco-vanilla frag. I love, I mean LOVE this fragrance on my clothes.

That being said. it is Generic City.

Or a citrusy deodorant from that era.

It gives the perfume a soft touch!

Might sound weird but this reminds me of a mixture between Viva la Juicy and Viva la Juicy Bowdacious. But the white floral in it didn't make me feel that way. The coconutty sweetness reminds me of summer in a good way. This scent is very glamorous and modern. And after buying the fragrance and trying it out the same happened to me. This is more gourmand, I think. Sad, really.

Anyway after the first spray I was actually really underwhelmed and felt quite ill if Im honest.

I would say this smells like typical shea butter scent + vanilla. It does have lasting power, just not the old school level of the first. HOWEVER.I haven't ever purchased any flankers from Mugler until this year.

no depth or complexity at all. Fragrantica Inc, United States. This one feels very tame and not like it belongs to Mugler, or Alien, for that matter. First impression sweet fruit bubblegum shampoo for kids.

It's nice to be simple sometimes, and Alien Goddess is simply nice. No jasmine, no bergamot. I like the use of coconut water instead of a heavier coconut note (thts bcuz I dont really like coconut tht much), I feel like in this format, I can enjoy a fresher kind of coconut. This smells identical in every way to the Dove shower cream wash in Shea butter and vanilla. I have yet to receive other samples in the cologne line, which are coming, so I havent been able to try any layered combinations.

That is Mugler for you though and that's why they will always be one of my favorite designers.

But it sure isn't a HOT smell. The Bourbon note hits different, Im obsessed.

I detect coconut, caramel and vanilla but I could barely smell much when first sprayed and it never improved much. Simple clean and sexy. I'll have to pick up an actual sample somewhere to try it out.

However, after a few hours for some reason the scent just smelled odd. But wait, coconut essence is also there too on the top notes.

"It smelled too sweet for me like an orange Popsicle.". A first impression that led to an obsession. i love it. Several reviews down someone compared this to B&BW's old-school scent Coconut Lime Verbena and they are right on. on the contrary - i'd describe it as sophisticated and elegant, but in a lightweight way.

Then I got a sample from Sephora and tried it again. Not something similar to alien but it has its own unique smell, maybe thats why they called it after alien. At first coconut water is really noticeable cause its a really fresh and revitalising note.

Fades quicker than I'd like for the price but other than that a solid addition to my collection :). I'm honestly shocked how many bad reviews are all over the internet about this new Mugler release.

Nothing more. I would consider buying a travel spray of Alien Goddess though because it does smell good. Its coconut, vanilla, plus a decent amount of tuberose with the Mugler jasmine. I just received 4 different attempts at "summer" scents in the mail and this one blows every other away.

Seeing the initial reviews I was in a bit of a denial almost, prepared to find something to like. Horrible. looks a bit futuristic.

The original Soleil Blanc goes into a beast mode that Alien Goddess doesnt. Is it different than the original Alien? Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! Very boring, yet quite likeable and crowd pleasing. Alien Goddess, the new Mugler perfume from the Alien collection, targets Generation-Z; a younger population yet to meet Mugler as a brand. this smells about as similar to the original alien as angel nova does to the original angel hardly at all. It lasts quite good on my skin and I LOVE the scent! Something sea like aquatichmmmm. I honestly couldn't smell it too well at first, just a very faint coconut and vanilla. Really put off by Goddess at first (almost did an arm scrub) but not sure why, so I decided to come here to think about it. It smells absolutely nothing like the original, and it's the only "Alien" fragrance that has actually made me feel sick upon sniffing.

No, the bottle is not the same as the other ones, it just has the same shape, which all perfume houses do, its called keeping on brand!

cap. Its super tropical and perfect for any occasion. I was also intrigued by its reviews. The only Mugler that I would say is a safe blind buy. It reminds me a lot of the coconut jelly they sell at boba tea shops so if you're looking for a super sweet coconutty scent this might be perfect for you. It's as if someone tried to cook Play-Doh.

Thank you Thierry Mugler for another beautiful fragrance. It's like fcuk friction but stronger. I bought Alien Goddess today since I really liked the concept and wanted to blind buy a perfume, treat myself, all that jazz. Despite the fact the these notes sound ordinary, I'still think Mugler always makes extraordinary perfumes. Nonetheless, I couldnt wait to get my hands on this. I tried little sample .

here i am, 8 hour later, & its going strong still. It starts out screechy, and stays that way. This is a new fragrance. sillage and longevity are impressive, and i find this very easy to wear, even in cold weather. I sniffed this in store and immediately dismissed it as basic and unimpressive.

Now its over two hours later and its settled down into a heliotrope scent with coconut underneath. "Coconutty, Powdery, Cashmearen, Softness, Cozy, Feminine" I also have this in the new intense version which I'll review as well. What is this doing in an Alien bottle? Another summery, beachy blend of solar vanilla and white florals. pairs beautifully with others in my summer wardrobe my only concern is it's lasting power. Personally as someone who hates Coconut in perfume, is isnt horrible. the coconut water note makes it tropical in a way that is not cloying like many coconut-heavy scents are.

This made me sick to my stomach.

While the juice itself is not bad, I'm disappointed that Mugler has lost its edge, and I wouldn't spend the asking price for a rather basic perfume.

Like hint of coconut not so strongly. other reviews say it changes drastically, but the dry-down smells generally the same for me.

I love the simple sweet warmth of it! Clean, light, sunscreeny coconut. Its not as polarizing and it does smell kind of mainstream. Poeme for years, Coco, La Vie Est Belle, Gabrielle I was in the mood for a change, something softer but warm. I am honestly shocked this is a Theirry Mugler creation, just so weak!

The opening is very fresh and aquatic because of the coconut water and the bergamote.

I always loved TF soleil blanc but it never lasted on my skin, I found my match! I like it very much. Initially it is very white floral forward. warm and sensual makes me happy.

It has longevity and it lasts, when I smell this perfume I feel happy and stunning. Now it feels more airy and balanced.

Alien Goddess / Thierry Mugler 2 Pc (78.99 USD), Perfume rating3.70out of5 with1,983 votes. Not unpleasant, but thats about it. The jasmine is very faint, and I dont get much bergamot.

I tried to wait for the base notes to come through more but I couldn't wait it out. When I first sprayed it, I immediately felt like it reminded me of something and it literally smells like my vanilla and cocoa soap and hand sanitiser which turned me off it!

(why create a flanker that smells just like the O.G? For Mugler it's so unoriginal and bland no zest, no kick, no bite. It's a solid smell but. where is the ALIEN DNA???

It's a watery coconut smell, and it's sweet.

I look forward to testing it. It very well could just be my skin chemistry or my nose needs more time with it.

The citrus and powdery vanilla really come out on me.

very fresh and happy! Alien Goddess is a nice scent for the summer when you want that coconut-sunscreen vibe. It does not smell like the toasty milky coconut in most gourmands, nor does it smell like coconut water at all (I grew up in a subtropical area).

I don't deny the scent is ok if you like coconut but I already wore coconut lime verbena many moons ago as a body spray. Ive seen this comparison before and its really upsetting because its has nothing to do with them. Such a beautiful bottle.

L'oral should be ashamed of what they've done to this brand. Absolutely not! Because of its duality, this unique creation can be worn as a mens perfume as well as a womens fragrance.

I liked the opening and decided to buy it. Aroma by Costa Brazil: Candidate For Best Fragrance 2022?

to me, that hasn't worn off over time but the unpleasant part lasts for such a brief amount of time that it's no use knocking major points off it.

If you loved Alien and previous flankers, you're going to be really mad you spent money on this.

The coconut is not very strong which i like!! In the bottle it actually smelled similar to L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake. Kinda feels like a cozy blanket to me once dried down. It does smell like sunscreen, which would be a plus to me, if it wasnt so synthetic.

Because you, my dear, are the coldest b in the room. It's also too beachy to wear in colder weather so I don't know when to wear it.
