The performance groups were selected for their unique perspectives, as well as their fantastic array of styles, sounds, colours and expressions. A detailed sustainability and CO2 Analysis Report is being completed by A Greener Festival on behalf of the Pageant. For the first time ever, rival creatives from Britains oldest carnival tradition are collaborating to interpret The Crown, Royal Heraldry, and the Royal Yacht Britannia.Their performance will be split into two Great British parts Happy and Glorious. The Pageant will take audiences from post-war 1950s Britain with Lambeth Walkers and jivers, to the 1970s with northern soulies and glam rockers, all the way to the 1990s with acid ravers and Britpop power.
