There's something vintage in the EDP that bothers me.

On my skin, this smells more like heliotrope than vanilla. This fragrance brings me back to my childhood - growing up as a Francophone Canadian - like reviews below me, going to a sugar shack. Very vanilla dominant with a lil bit of spice maybe. Wearing this i feel unique, down to earth, sexy and interesting, warm and motherly. In the next few minutes, the lemon fades away and you end up with a watery vanilla, the cardamom is still there but you'll be lucky to be able to smell either of them after half an hour. #COUPON_DISCOUNT# Its nice but not for me. I enjoy the opening with its fresh, woody, resinous aroma, and the vanilla is definitely solid without being foody. 9/10. theperfumesmell diptyque The most beautiful vanilla fragrance for me. A much lighter and brighter (almost citrusy or salty) version of the EDP. As it stands, it blasts gin (the juniper, I assume) and then flickers vanilla for seconds, and is gone. Spicy, moody and mysterious vanilla. My most worn vanillascent last year.

Fragrance Reviews: 1,287,007 Its a wonderful dry vanilla with a hint of juniper for me. 1, The spices (pepper most prominently) poke through and add a tinge of freshness to it, but my general impression is still one that is soft and slightly heavy. Nothing deep, fresh or natural about this one. Ive been sampling a lot of fragrances that are more complex, and this one I found to be so comforting. If you do not like traditional vanilla like me, you might be surprised how it juxtaposed with resins in this oneif you love vanilla, this might not be at all what you would expect, as it is more hidden in this composition. The first 30min can be headache inducing so go lightly on the amount you spray! Not sure if it will darken but curious. More notes, and not so dang musky.

Reminds me of going to a dessert house after a luxurious dinner in the city on a fancy date with a sexy man. 10/10. I love paring this with Zarkoperfume molecule 234.38. My new winter scent. If youre a vanilla lover, this is worth a sample. A very strange progressing scent but a really nice fragrance.

i don't wanna get rid of it because i like the bottle and don't want to go through the return process, but i might have to. I wanted to blind buy a full size bottle of something a few weeks ago, just for the thrill of itId made some extra money this spring and decided to heck with it, life is short, why notand after much waffling back and forth between this and a few other fragrances, I chose to buy Eau Duelle EDT. Wanted the EDP but made a mistake.

I left the store with a bottle. Now I love it! I love the hit of cardamom and juniper in the opening. I feel that the longevity is a little weak except from the vanilla that stays for quite a while. Smells like lumber, but a warmer, sweeter smell. However I'm glad I gave it a chance. I'm in a moment when I really respect Duelle. Just lovely, addictive even. Perhaps I'm looking for that extra something, which I think this fragrance lacks. The nose behind this fragrance is Fabrice Pellegrin. Cozy and classic smelling.

diptyque I ran across Eau Duelle while on a hunt for the new formulation of Indecnce, and picking up a sample of Philosykos. 2 sprays behind my ears and i can still smell it lingering around me after 7 hours. With the dry down comes even more of that element. Although when I put this on I feel like the sillage is strong, apparently it isn't, but I do get compliments with this one, from people who get a bit closer. Very sophisticated and mature yet soft and a little sweet. diptyque the vanilla was pretty but i thought i'd surely get a headache from too much vanilla'd sweetness in time. I really like the bottle design. Everything is in perfect balance. This fragrance gets as close as you can possibly get to crossing the line into too sweet. Truly unisex. This scent does beautifully in hot weather on skin and clothes.

purchased a bottle. I should love this, but the sweet elemi resin, olibanum, and vanilla drown out the woodsy, piney notes, and the tea.

, diptyque(). Mine is the EDP concentration, so that may make a difference. All of the other notes encase and support a vanilla that is cozy, mildly spiced, and restrained from being sugary. I do sometimes feel like this would be better in candle form rather than on my person as sometimes I feel like I need a break from the unrelenting woods in this one. An aromatic herbal vanilla, a bit like Lalique Le Parfum. Reminds me of an antique brass vase that's been kept pristine and polished that someone uses as decor in their stylishly designed home. This one lasts maybe 2-3 hours before it's all gone on my skin and it was by far my favorite from the set (others included were Tam Dao, Philosykos, Do Son and L'Ombre Dans L'Eau.). Easyreach, that sits close to the skin, but last a loong time on clothes. I wouldn't consider the vanilla here an edible type but rather it adds a bit of woody sweetness. It is not heavy vanilla, but rather fresh vanilla. 20220731() This is a beautiful aromatic vanilla! Not a gourmand scent in my opinion and definitely unisex maybe leaning slightly fem due to the sweetness. I do not see Ambroxan listed in the EDT Can someone verify this for me? I think it's a suitable scent for winter, I can't imagine wearing it on a warm day. Kind of reminds me of Florabotanica by Balenciaga (one of my greatest loves) if Florabotanica had vanilla. Upon initial spray it was almost identical, but then in the dry down the vanilla really came through. The opening is a bit spicy, peppery.. Just lovely and fine.

I agree with Punkrockbebop, wish the green and spicy notes were more prominent it's nice though, high quality pure vanilla with resin not really complex, at-least on my skin.

I think it's the best fragrance to spray on scarf in fall / winter which is gonna make it last forever. Amber and olibanum complete the fragrance and are more evident several hours in. Selling a 1.7oz of this. Of course, it is very cozy for cold weather too.

The more heat the more intense. The shacks themselves would be build of maple wood as well, and after many years, the smell of the boiling maple sap would permeate the structure. I prefer the toilette as the spices are kept a bit more in check and overall I think it reads a tad more feminine on my skin, but I also own the parfum and it is excellent, especially in winter when you need a bit more oomph. This is such a soft, pretty vanilla.

It is mostly sweet and the vanilla is what shines the most on me, but there is a smokiness and slight woodiness to this that prevent it from being too cloying. The scent opens up to a very synthetic vanilla which does go away after a few minutes. the opening is very peppery! Its in the same realm of Bois Dargent but Bois is a little more dustier. This quickly softens into a wonderful cedar-woody blend. it smells like a dessert, but not like cake or something. I don't think anybody around me knew I was wearing a perfume. Great work scent that wont offend anyone yet interesting enough to not be boring.

This is quite interesting as far as vanilla goes, as well as feeling genuinely unisex. The kind of vanilla in eau duelle smells creamy, like an homemade custard, no artifical pungent edges. The milky vanilla and fragrant cardamom just work wonders on my senses and bring about a total state of comfort for me. No sharp notes, just warm softspicy and beautiful. Vanilla black tea under a juniper tree. It smells less synthetic than a lot of vanilla fragrances, and also less gourmand-y. That makes it a great choice for this time of year, the end of winter, when I'm getting sick of heavy scents but not ready to move on to actual spring-appropriate ones yet. Overall I like this scent and have owned it for years, however sometimes the wood notes are too prominent and rough on me. I like the overall tone of Eau Duelle, the warm spicy vanilla, but it definitely has a masculine edge, and that won't do for me..it has depth, warmth, This isnt your soft sweet vanilla, and to my nose more a cold weather scent..but the unisex vibe won't do for me..,still I enjoy the smell, just not something I would personally wear..it has a greenish twist too, must be the elemi, which isn't a note I favor much..like smoky greenoutdoorsy almost..Duelle implies the dual nature of this scent, as for me, strictly feminine does better . Woody vanilla, the opening I dont really care for, but it very soon settles to a comforting warm, vanilla skin scent wich I love. I prefer Orchidee Vanille much more as I am not a big fan of aromatic vanilla. I love this scent but I cant bring myself to purchase this because it lasts 1 minute on me (ive tried on skin and clothing).

About an hour later, it turned into pure ambroxan on my skin, more or less identical to Not a Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun. I have worn this three times now and each time has been a different experience. Stars and goes on as a skinscent. At that point I will decide if I want a full bottle. The bourbon of the vanilla note then took on more of a rum quality in my mind, giving Eau Duelle anisland vibe?(!) But it's hard to imagine anyone being offended by it when it's so quietly pleasant. There is vanilla here but its not at all what I would consider gourmand, and I wouldnt even describe it as a particularly sweet scent. It's the perfect wintertime scent. Cake mix turns to sawdust; a literal interpretation of the idea of nectar turning to ash in one's mouth. More masculine than I thought. I've smelled this before! :-) Lovely fragrance! I detect a hint of leather, oddly. I felt it was too expensive for its performance. When I smelled this, it reminds me of something I smelled before many times, Smells like MAC lipstick, soft not sweet vanilla.

Very comforting and cozy. It's so snuggly and warm I enjoy it very much lasts about 8 to 10 hours on my skin with a nice gentle projection. The EDP has much more emphasis on the vanilla, it's deeper, and is mainly a vanilla for the winter season. My juice is still light.

Very longlasting yet an Eau de Toilette. It is a yummy vanilla not bland as the spice elevates it and I can feel the elimi and cardamom very delicious! LuckyScents sample. Complement getter! But you really need to be alone in a room with it to pick out the scent. a very dry, woody aromatic vanilla with a little spice. diptyque duelle It's soft, spicy and dry. Pretty for 5 minutes then its gone forever. To me, this is purely a before bed fragrance to help relax and soothe.

Still unisex scent and I do like it. I would describe this as a slightly spiced melted French vanilla ice cream. The undercurrent of juniper and cardamom bloom as it further develops, leaning almost into a cedar tone but the warmth of the vanilla and pepper keep it from getting too 'cold'.
