One of the few perfumes I've tried that makes me physically ill. Too sweet and overbearing for me. I get NO chocolate, no citrus except in the messy opening, nothing but amber really. My dress - Champagne-colored silk with ivory lace and crystals covering the entire dress (very vintage-feel). Buyer is knowledgeable abt scents. You do get a hint of dark chocolate, and the florals in the middle notes are pretty, but when it dries down I just can't smell anything special. It does have staying power as i tried to wash it off/scrub in the shower and could still smell it after i dried off. Or at least be able to endure them for the delicious drydown which is well worth the wait. I dont get any of the rotten notes on my skin, instead getting a melon impression that slowly gives way to a fruitiness with a slight twang of peony and finally settles into a luxurious amber with fruit weaving in and out.
